BCCI Entrusts Ticket Sales for ODI World Cup 2023 to Online Platforms BookMyShow and Paytm

In a strategic move, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is gearing up to hand over the management of ticket sales for the highly anticipated ODI World Cup 2023 to two prominent online ticketing platforms, namely BookMyShow and Paytm.
However, despite this shift, attendees at the stadiums will still be required to possess the physical copies of their actual tickets to gain entry.
The distribution of responsibilities is expected to be divided almost evenly between the two ticketing giants, with approximately half of the World Cup matches falling under the purview of each platform—Paytm and BookMyShow.
Notably, the tickets for the semifinal matches, scheduled to be held at the Wankhede Stadium and the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata, will be made available exclusively on Paytm's official website. According to a reliable source, tickets for two pivotal encounters—the intense India vs Pakistan (IND vs PAK) clash and the grand finale of the ODI World Cup—will be up for grabs on the platform provided by BookMyShow.
Crucially, the sale of tickets is slated to commence on the 25th of August, creating a heightened sense of anticipation among cricket enthusiasts and fans worldwide.
