Bobby Deol, once being asked for ticket refunds to garnering accolades for his role in "Animal"
7 years ago, Bobby Deol entertained the idea of becoming a DJ and was eager to showcase his newfound talent to the public, hoping it might revitalize his waning stardom due to the dearth of film offers. DJ Bobby's performance was fairly decent until he included tracks from his own movies "Gupt" and "Soldier." This move infuriated the audience so much that they demanded refunds for their tickets, effectively closing the door on Bobby's music career.
At the age of 54, When discussing failure, Deol openly acknowledges his nonchalant attitude. He doesn't hesitate to openly display his failures. Throughout his extensive 28-year career, he experienced numerous setbacks. “I knew that, if I fall, my parents will always be the cushion. But the fall hurts no matter how much cushion they gave me. As an individual guy, I had to stand up. No one can make or break you. Stardom doesn’t last too long. I was a star once, and it died, it vanished. No one took me seriously as an actor. I knew I had the potential, and the capabilities but nobody had given me an opportunity. I had chosen work which didn’t work for me so things went the other way around. So, I tried working on that and worked on myself as an actor”.
