Pornstar Jesse Jane dead due to drug overdose

Renowned adult film actress Jesse Jane, known for her prominence in the mid-2000s, has sadly been found deceased at the age of 43, reportedly due to a suspected overdose.

TMZ reports indicate that Jane and her partner, Brett Hasenmueller, were discovered deceased at a residence in Moore, Oklahoma, prompting a welfare check by local law enforcement.

Concerns arose when Hasenmueller failed to show up for work for several days, leading his employer to request the check. While initial findings suggest a drug-related cause of death for both individuals, the exact duration of their passing remains under investigation.

Jane rose to fame after signing a contract with Digital Playground in 2002, marking her entry into the adult entertainment industry. Notably, she starred in the lead role of the 2008 production "Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge," a notable $8 million endeavor that stands as one of the most expensive pornographic films ever made.

Throughout her career, Jane earned numerous accolades, including hosting duties at the Adult Video Awards and induction into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2013. Despite briefly stepping away from the industry in 2017, she returned in 2019 to participate in several more productions.

Beyond her adult film career, Jane made appearances in various mainstream projects, such as a guest role on "Entourage" and a part in the 2009 film "Middle Men." Additionally, she had cameo appearances in films like "Starsky & Hutch" (2004) and the comedy "Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star."

With one child, Jane had recently filmed roles in several lower-budget projects, including the upcoming releases "The Curse of the Zombie Pirates" and "Blackout Z."
