It's redemption time for Mexican Racer Sergio Perez. Last year, He took his first pole position of his career at the Jeddah Circuit, but disaster struck in the race and he lost out after an early pitstop strategy being ruined by a safety car.
This year, he was back with a Bang in the Qualifying, grabbing 2nd pole of his career, but this time, Victory was coming for him.
1st Lap, Alonso gets a good start and after the turn 1, Checo was down on P2. It was just a few laps later, he regained his first position and just didn't gave up that place through out the race.
His teammate and defending world champion Max Verstappen started his race from P15, but being a World Champion, he finished right behind Checo on P2.
This is the first time, Checo has defended his 1st position against Max and too with a good margin.
